Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25, 1970) is a renowned American actress. Melina Kanakaredes is best known for portraying detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter and Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama Providence. Also, she was praised for her dramatic television debut of Eleni Andros Cooper on the CBS soap series Guiding Light. Some of her most notable films includes 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted into a film by Vlas Parlapanides (the team who invented the Immortals) is believed to be in production. She is also working on a new show known as Gods & Heroes.
