Forbes magazine named Addison Rae as the top TikToker of the world in August of 2020. She's among those who is the most followed on TikTok. Addison Rae has also become an instant star on YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter. Her debut single, Obsessed, was released in 2021. The single debuted at number 4 on New Zealand Hot Singles and the video ranked 6th on YouTube the day it released.
