Mary Marg Helgenberger, born November 16, 1958, in America, is an actor. She began her career in the early 1980s and first came to attention because of her role as Siobhan Ryan on the daytime soap opera Ryan's Hope from 1982 to the year 1986. She is best known for her performance as Catherine Willows in the CBS police procedural drama. Crime Scene Investigation (2000-13) and then the follow-up TV movie Immortality (2015). Vegas is the sequel to her first film, and she's been reprising the role until 2022. Other roles she has played include K.C. Koloski is well known for her performance in ABC's China Beach drama series (1988-91). She won her the Emmy Award of 1990 as Outstanding Supporting Artist in a Series Drama. Also, she was in the TV Series Under the Dome & Intelligence as well as the film Species (1995), Species II (2000) Erin Brockovich (2000) & Mr. Brooks (2007). She also is the most senior child of her four siblings. McCain finished her education at Phoenix Country Day School. She also attended Xavier College Preparatory a Catholic girl's private school. She graduated in 2007 with her bachelor's degree in art and studies at Columbia University. She graduated in 2017 and joined as a co-host of the daytime show The View, which she hosted from 2021 to 2021. For her work she was awarded the honor of four Daytime Emmy Award nominations. McCain is also a Daily Mail contributor after her 3-year tenure at The View. McCain wrote four books, including My Dad John McCain (2008) Dirty Sexy Politics (2010) America You Sexy Bitch : A love letter to freedom and Michael Ian Black (2012) as well as Bad Republican (2022).
